Stash Repot

Thanks to Sandi over at Kwiltnkats, I have some usage to report. Sandi did a class for
Paradise Sewing quilt shop on a quilt carry bag. You can see it on her site here. I provided her with strips and I got a bag and some stash usage. Pretty good trade on my end!

Design Wall

While awaiting the release of the May UFO from 52 Quilts, I am working on the quilt below. This is the Night and Day Pattern by Eleanor Burns at Quilt in a Day. It looks complicated, but the blocks actually went together very quickly. Blocks are complete, just need to sew the rows and then add three borders.

Night and Day
Tomorrow is a day off, so hope to get this one complete and add to my Stash Report on Sunday!

2015 UFO Challenge

Hooray my April UFO is complete and just in time for the Parade over at 52 Quilts!

Sisters Nine Patch was started a couple of years ago, when I was looking for a pattern to use up all the red scraps that I had. This is another of Bonnie Hunter's patterns from her earlier book, "Adventures with Leaders and Enders" It is also very large, finishing at 94x94 and has 169 Nine Patch Blocks.

Nice to have this one complete. Now off to see what else I can finish while awaiting the
May UFO release. Have a great rest of the week!

Design Wall

Happy Monday! This week I will be putting together my April UFO, Sister's Nine Patch. This pattern comes from Bonnie Hunters book, Adventures with Leaders and Enders. This was one of her first books and a quilt that I started a couple of years ago. Glad that I am finally finishing this one.

In between putting this together, I will also be working on the star blocks for Survivor.
Here is my progress so far. All the center for the star blocks complete and the points for the stars in progress.

Have a great week and check out more projects at Patchwork Times.

Design Wall

This week finds me working on Survivor, while waiting for April UFO to be
announced.  The was started awhile back in a workshop at San Diego Quilt show.
The sample was in blues and pink, but I chose to make mine in blues and cheddar.

I am working on all the star blocks this week, but should make a small dent, before I have to change gears and get going on the April UFO. Hope it is an easy one!

Have a great week and Happy Sewing!
