Design Wall Monday

This week I will be heads down working on Bonnie Hunter's Mystery. I still have clue 4 to finish and clue 5 was posted today. Clue 6 will be posted on Friday. I am still trying to finish up clue 4 below.

Clue 4 cut out.

This weekend was sewing the first part of clue 4 and the next day or two will be sewing the rest and pressing and trimming. We leave on Thursday to head to Winslow AZ and the La Posada Hotel for New Years. Will be bringing some bindings to work on as it is supposed to be a bit rainy up in that area. Not much work will get done on the Mystery, so will be playing catch up when we return.

Pinned and more sewing

Happy New Year and hope you are getting some sewing time in.

Sunday Stash Report

Hope you all had a beautiful Christmas day and are enjoying some time with Family and Friends!

No posting for me last week, with my busy trip to San Diego and then back home to get ready for Christmas here in AZ. Had a great time visiting the Grandkids, Kids and Friends, and look forward to more visiting in 2022.

With gifts given I can now share what was made during the month on November. Fabric Microwave bowels. I made 6 sets of these bowls in different fabrics for family.  These are great for holding those hot bowls in the Microwave.

This will be my last Stash Report of the year, so a small finish this week to end the year. My Calendar Quilt for February is done and only one more to go. I had hoped to finish them all, but that will not happen this year.

Calendar Quilt February.

Final report for the year, not too bad. Next year I am hoping to use up more of my stash in a number of Bonnie Hunter quilts that will be on my UFO list for the year. More on that later this week.

Used this week: 3 yards.
Used YTD: 259.0 yards.
Purchased this week: 0 yards.
Purchased YTD:  144.5 yards.
Net Fabric Used YTD: 114.5 yards.

Next update will be my slow progress on Bonnie Hunter Mystery. New Clue comes out tomorrow!

Enjoy your week!

Design Wall Monday

This week on my Design Wall is February Calendar Quilt. Background squares are cut and ready to sew and applique pieces are prepped to iron on. This will be my project this week along with finising up a couple of Christmas presents. Later this week I am off to see family in San Diego, will be great to see all the Grandkids, and of course my daughters and friends.

Sunday Stash Report

December is moving fast and only 12 more days until Christmas! This week a small add to the stash and a small finish. My Calendar Quilt for January is done and only needs to be quilted. Didn't he turn out cute! Next up will be February.

Calendar Quilt January

Also completed this week was the 3rd clue of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery. We are moving right along with the units needed to make this one. It is still not too late to join in.

BH Mystery Clue #3

My purchase for this week was a binding fabric that arrived from Fat Quarters. I needed a bit more for a couple of christmas gifts. Some will also go to Sandi for binding for a mini vintage quilt that she put together.

A finish this week with Cupids Bows. I ended up making two of these and had just enough fabric to piece together the backings.
