Design Wall Monday

UFO for February is just about done, so I am on to the next project that I brought up to Mammoth Lakes. I will be working on Prairie Gathering, a Pam Buda pattern that I started last year, and is one of my UFO's for this year. I really like Pam Buda's Patterns. You can check out her website here at Heartspun Quilts.

My next round up is the checkerboard round.
Below is the finished quilt. Still have a number of rounds to go on this one.

Prairie Gathering finished.

Stash Report

This week DH and I are back up at Mammoth Lakes for more Skiing. Today was a snowy day so I was able to spend a good part of the day doing a bet of sewing.

Nothing added this week and nothing finished, but check back tomorrow. I should have the top complete for We be Jammin Quilt.

I did finish the block for Sunshine Quilt Guild block of the month. All of the fabric was provided, so can't count this one as a used from my stash. 😊

Sunshine block of the month.
Also completed on the drive up to Mammoth was another Lucy Boston Block.

Design Wall

This week I am working on my February UFO-We Be Jammin. The Bus is complete and I will be adding all the animals. This is a pattern by McKenna Ryan and was purchased on a road trip to Glacier National Park last year. McKenna'a patterns have a lot of detail and a lot of pieces. The Bus had over 40 pieces to layer.

Have a great week and enjoy more design walls at Patchwork Times.

Sunday Stash Report

I am happy to announce another finish this week. This was one of my UFO's from 2016 and is called A Different Path. The pattern is by kathie
and was from the October 2013 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting. The blocks were hand appliqued over a couple of years and a couple of car trips. It was a great project to take along on my travels.

A Different Path

All of the fabrics were from my stash and used over 100 different Reproduction prints and mostly shirting backgrounds. Numbers for the week below.

Used this week: 19 yards.
Used YTD:  48.0 yards.
Purchased this week: 0 yards.
Purchased YTD: 8.5 yards.
Net Fabric Used YTD: 39.5 yards.

January UFO Finish

Here is my finish for January-En Provence! A Bonnie Hunter Mystery started in November 2016. I love her mystery quilts and have been participating for the last 9 years. I have not been disappointed yet with how they have finished!
En Provence
For me, a finish is completing the quilt top. Getting it quilted and bound is another story, as it goes in the que, behind all my customer quilts that need to be finished.

Looking forward to working on my #9 UFO this month: Road Trip.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
