Design Wall

With my April UFO complete, this week on my design wall are the flying geese for Union Blues. This will take awhile as there are so many of them.

My friend Sandi over at Kwiltnkats gifted me with pieces to make the Dawns Early Light block.

Dawns Early Light is a block in Quiltmaker's 100 blocks Magazine. It was designed by
Bonnie Hunter. Sandi gave me enough string blocks to make enough blocks for the entire quilt. All I will need to add are the half square triangles, which I have some left from another project that I will use. Looking forward to putting these blocks together in between other projects.

March UFO Finish

Here is my March UFO Finish, Tarted up Pineapple. Started in a class at Road to California in January 2017. This pattern by Janna Thomas was made using her Bloc Loc Ruler. If you have not tried any of these rulers, you can check them out here. I own quite a few of them and really like them.

Pineapple Table runner completed

I made mine a tablerunner size with two of the larger blocks and 4 smaller blocks. It is now quilted and binding finished
