Design Wall Monday

On my Design wall this week will be a couple of small projects while I wait for the next UFO number to be released from American Patchwork and Quilting 2021 UFO Challenge.  I will be working on my Vintage Christmas blocks, two of six done so far. My Heart and Hand blocks are also due at the end of the week, so some hand applique is on the agenda.

There are some embroidry details that will be added on the skate block and a few others. Will be working on that in the evenings while watching a little TV. Next up is finishing the cutting for my Autum Love project. This is another Lori Holt quilt and instructions are available on her blog. Blocks are seperated in bags and I will be starting on these in between my UFO's There is both piecing and applique in this quilt.

Autum Love

This week on my Longarm is a quilt that I made last year from a panel. Called Koi. I am using two different clam shell designs from Anne Bright. This should be finished in a day or two.

A lot happening in my quilting world this week. Hope you are getting time to sew!

This will be the first of 4 I spy quilts for my Grandkids. Waiting on some Fabrics to start the next ones. Holly Hill belowm was a kit purchased a few years ago. I decided to machine applique this one as I wanted to get it done a little quicker.

Design Wall Monday

If you are off today, I hope you are enjoying the day and maybe even getting some quilting done.

On my Design Wall this week is the first of 4 I Spy quilts. This has been fun and fast to put together, with most of the work in cutting all the novelty squares. Thanks to Sandi and Betty for donating some great fabrics. All that is left to do on this one is sew the rows together and finish the borders.

I spy #1

I am awaiting fabrics to get started on the next one, so will be sewing the blocks for Vintage Christmas this week, that were cut out last week.

On the longarm this week is Grassy Creek. I quilted Sandi's last week and loved the pattern and thread choice, so I am doing the same on mine. Next up will be a couple more projects from Sandi that are in the mail and should arrive tomorrow.

Have a great week!
