This quilt I made awhile back and now hangs on the wall in my DH man cave,

On the design wall this week will be more blocks for the second baby quilt. I also hope to get the first one quilted this week and binding started.

Sandcastles

This is also happening, cutting pieces for another Bonnie Hunter quilt: Sandcastles.  All are from the 2.5" strip bins. Trying to use up those strips! Below are all the 4-patches that will go into this quilt. These were made from all the 1.5" squares that I have been collecting. 400 so far, but need 512! So a bit more to go for this step.

Yes, a finish this week. The first of many Crooked Courthouse Steps quilts to use up the 2.5 inch strips that have collected over the years. Just need to quilt and bind.

Design Wall

On my design wall this week are more of the blocks above this is the second of the two baby quilts that I am working on. I will be starting with 20 blocks and then see if I might need more. Sashing will go between the blocks and I may do a border. This will be a work in progress for the next week or two.

Leftover were all these little triangles. I am thinking about using them for the border. Just have to sew them all together!

Sunday Stash Report

No finishes yet, but getting close. All the blocks are done for Broken Courthouse Steps and hope to have it finished this week. I will also spend some time cutting a few more of these in kits to work on over the summer.

Arrived this week was block #4 for Vintage Valentine. This I hope to prep this week and get started on the sewing the applique down. I am all caught up on the is BOM and hope to keep up over the next few months. Just a small add to the stash with this one.

Design Wall

 Not much happening in my Sewing room this week, as DH and I took a trip over to the Grand Canyon. We rode the train from Williams, AZ to the Canyon, spent a couple of fun hours there and rode the train back. It was a great experience and if you ever have a chance to take this trip, do it!

On my design wall this week is Broken Courthouse Steps. Just 4 more blocks to go and then I will be able to get the top together. This on was all from my stash and used up some of my 2.5" strips. I still have a lot more strips to use up and I am planning to make a few more of these. The pattern is fast and easy.

Design Wall

On my design wall this week is the Broken Courthouse steps. The blocks are made out of all the christmas 2.5 strips from my stash. So far it has only made a small dent in all the 2.5 strips that I have. These blocks go together pretty fast, so I will be making a few more of these. Next up will be one using all the patriotic strips.

Here are some of the crooked courthouse blocks that I will be working on this week.

And the first of the two quilts for the grandnieces. I am also working on some hand sewing. I have a lot of bindings that have piled up, while working on the blocks for Dear Hannah. I have set those aside and will be digging into binding later this week.
