Here is what the finished block will look like after sewing all the strips together.

I have been working with a lot of Red/white/blue fabrics this past month and will be ready for something different when these projects are done.

Design Wall Monday

Clue 1

Clue #1 for Oh say can you sew was completed and I will be working on Clue 2. My version will be sort of scrappy, but a bit more controlled. I have been able to cut all the units needed with my Accquilt. It sure does speed up the process.

Clue 2

Here is the start of Clue 2, a lot of hourglass units! My goal is to "catch up" before the september clue is released. I will be sewing these, in between finishing up putting my Wedding ring top together. Busy week for me ahead, how about you?

Progress is happening! All the blocks are together, boy it was alot of work. This week hope to get the rows together and then the flying geese border and lastly a big outer border that will have applique at a later date. Once the top is together on this one, I will put it away for a bit and start prepping the applique. It may end up on the UFO list for next near!

On the longarm this week is one of three charity quilts that I will be quilting. Not sure how far I will get.
Hope you have a fun project going for the week!
