Back from my retreat over the weekend. We had a great time up in the mountains, enjoying the cooler weather and some thunderstorms. Above is a little pond close to the retreat house, where we took a walk in the morning. There were a pair of Emus that lived along the road to the the pond. They were fun to watch.
In the late afternoons the deer would come down near the house, We has 3 moms and 3 babies visiting us. The babies were so adorable!
On the quilting side, I started my Leaf Pile Quilt, and the Shamrock wall hanging, I also finished up a 3-yard quilt for charity.

I did not get as much done as I had hoped, but had a wonderful time!
Looking forward to next years retreat!
