Design Wall Monday

The first thing I will be working on this week is glue basting down all the applique on Michigan. Below is one section complete. This will be an ongoing project for quite awhile, all the hand applique still needs to be done.

Next up will be work on my August UFO, Midnight Dreams. Pieces are cut and will go with me to my sewing group tomorrow night. Hope to get blocks completed and quilt finished up this week.

Midnight Dreams

On the longarm this week is another quilt from the past, Seven Sisters. The top was finished in 2013 from a class taken at Road to California, taught by Marfi Michell. I am slowly getting caught up on all my own quilts this year. Next up will be a holiday quilt for Sandi.

Hope you have a great week and Happy Sewing!

  1. You'll have Michigan done in no time. Anxious to see how you quilted your Seven Sisters. Midnight Dreams is dark, but anything batik is awesome. Sandi
