May is flying by! No finishes to report this week, but two quilts still in the works. The first 5 of 30 Basket blocks are complete for Sewing Basket. I will be working on the remaining this week.

New numbers for this week:
This week finds me working on two projects, the Laundry Basket Mystery quilt and Sewing Baskets.
Below is my progress on the Mystery. I am a little bit behind, because I ran out of one of the backgrounds. It should be here this week so I can catch up. In the meantime I am working on what I can with the fabrics I have on hand. I like what is happening so far. The fabrics are really pretty.
Next up is my May UFO Sewing baskets. Another Laundry Basket pattern. This time is it all in solids that I had left from the Spools Quilt. So far I have the basket handles all prepped for applique and most of the baskets cut out. There are 30 baskets in this quilt.

I spy #4 |
Its nice to have all the tops done, now I just need to get them quilted. That will be the project for the next couple of weeks.
Last week at our zoom guild meeting, I won the BOM. They are coming in the mail and this is what is recieved so far. It is a disappering nine patch with snowball corners. Looking forward to getting a few more and will see what I can make of them.
This week I will be finishing up the last of the I spy quilts. Did not make any progress last week, so this is when I finish.
I am also starting on the Laundry Basket Myster quilt tomorrow. There will be a new block released each day, except for Sunday, for the next two weeks. Hope I can keep up. You can find information here if you want to join in.
Have a great week and happy sewing!
Happy Mothers Day!
These new fabrics arrived while I was on my trip to Sacramento. From Laundry Basket quilts. These will all be used for an upcoming Mystery Quilt that starts on Tuesday. You can join in here.

Finished before this week were the Vintage Christmas blocks for April. I should be recieving May anytime now and it is good to be caught up.
I am happy to report that Mistletoe is finally finished, all 100 Ohio star blocks and feathered star center. Love how it turned out! I may still add applique to the border, but for now I am calling it done.
On to finishing I spy quilt #4 this week and working on the Vintage Christmas blocks. First two are done, with 4 more to go. The new ones are on the way.

May Pincushion |
I am off to Sacramento to see my Mom for Mother's Day Weekend, on Thursday. Still hope to get a few things done before I leave. Maybe I will take a pincushion to work on.
Happy Sewing!
Happy May!
Nothing added from my trip this week, did not make it into a quilt shop. We were too busy enjoying the beautiful scenery of Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. We also enjoyed a fun River rafting trip on the Colorado River.
