Design Wall

After some great finishes last week, which will go on the longarm to be quilted this week, I will be working on my checkerboard UFO. Strips are cut out below and sewing will start. This is a super easy pattern found on Red Pepper Quilts

Checkerboard fabrics

I am using a jelly roll of floral fabrics purchased a couple of years ago at a quilt shop in Massachusetts, and a dark grey chambray.

DH also asked me to make a baby quilt for one of our landscapers, who has a baby boy due any day now. So I pulled out these leftovers from another project and will be putting together a quick quilt this week. So nice to use up the stash.
