Sunday Stash Reoport

I am back from our Sunshine Retreat at Vina Lestonnac in Temecula. It is out in the middle of wine country, a very beautiful, peaceful place.

There were 26 of us in a nice big room, with plenty of table space to spread out!
Our theme was Hawaiian Luau, with our friendly mascot below. The food was great, we shared lots of snacks, played Left Center Right game, and Candi brought lots of great door prizes. We even had pajama night, where we sewed all night in our PJ's. Shopping at Primitive Gatherings was also on the schedule along with massages!

I was able to complete the remaining blocks for the center of my Dear Jane, and also completed 4 more triangles. Only 9 more triangles to go and then sewing it all together!

Also completed this weekend,  a UFO from
last year called Pinwheel parade. This is a a very simple easy quilt by Missouri Star Quilts. Yes, I have a finish to report this week!

A couple of adds to the stash from Primitive Gatherings. More reds for Dear Jane, and a grey to be used in a future project.

I also could not resist the patterns below: Omigosh by Susan Gorman, Among Friends and Pinwheel Garden both by Lisa Bongean, all with a lot of small pieces!

Out retreat ended too soon and we we are all looking forward to next year! Check back tomorrow to see all the little gifts that were brought by all.
