Design Wall Monday June 13, 2011
This week I am continuing work on the Dove in the Window Quilt. I was able to get all of the blocks finished at our retreat this weekend, and now just need to do the sashing, which is nine blocks and strip sets. Hoping to get to that this week. Below are ten of the twenty blocks that I completed. I just love the fabrics!

Design Wall Monday June 6, 2011
Happy Mondayto All!!
This week I am working on my Dove in the Window quilt. This will probably take me most of the month as it is another large quilt, 86x101. The fabrics are all batiks from Sew Batik and I just love the muted tones. There are 20 different batik fabrics in this quilt. Hope to get a good start later this week at our Quilting Retreat.

Sunday Stash Report June 5, 2011
This week I have only purchases to report. Two Batik backings from Sew Batik, and a great red that will soon have a home.
It is a short work week this week, as I will be taking off Thursday and Friday for our annual Quilt Retreat. Looking forward to the dedicated time to sew, chat, eat and drink with some great ladies. I will be working on my UFO for June, Dove in the Window, and the annual Humane Society Quilt that Sandi (over at Kwiltnkats), and I have made together for the last couple of years. The theme this year is Dancing with the Dogs, and we have some great ideas on how we will be interpreting this- so stay tuned!
Hope you all have a great week!
