Sunday Stash Report

Finsihed this week was a small baby quilt that will be a charity donation. All fabrics were used from my stash and leftover from a previous project.

Baby Quilt

I attended Quiltcon on Saturday and enjoyed the show and vendors, even though I am a more traditional quilter. Definetly some interesting quilts. Below are some of my favorites.

Beautiful quilting on this one.

Loved this red one.

I did a little damage to the stash with the purchase of the white with black novelty prints below. I just couldn't pass them up!

Also purchased was a kit to make the basket below and some new scissors for Kai.

  1. I love the fabric used for the border in the charity quilt. A child will really love the fox pattern. The first photo posted of the modern quilts you bring to us is my favorite. Then second would have to be the miniature 4th from the last. How big was it? Must have been foundation pieced. Do you remember? These white w/black fabrics has my favorite as the paper plane. Having made a basket with fabric and rope before, a hint for you is keep the fabric tight and your zig zag not too close.
