Stash Report

Happy Spring! March is flying by and no finishes to report this week, just a work in progress. A couple of fabrics were added to the stash for future projects.

These will be for a Patriotic Quilt I will be trying to finish for Sunshine Quilt Guild Challenge in May.

Work in progress below is Prairie Gathering, with the 3rd month completed. It is starting to get bigger and soon will not fit on the design wall. I am really loving these fabrics by Pam Buda.

Design Wall Monday

Monday is here and a new project will be on my wall this week. I am starting on my March UFO called Tidbit. This mini quilt came to me from  Aunt Marti over at 52 Quilts, as a prize for participating in the monthly quilt parade. Check it out when you have a chance.

I also hope to tackle the next installment of half square triangles for Union Blues. This is a labor intensive quilt that Sandi and I are tackling as a block of the month.

If that is not enough, I hope to get back to Allietare later in the week!

Stash Report.

This week I have a finish to report. This is the quilt for my new Granddaughter, Ivy. It is from a patten called Square Dance by GiGi's Thimble. It was very simple and went together fast. Just one afternoon of sewing. 

No adds this week, so still in the black! Now on to my UFO for March!

Design Wall Monday

Another rainy day in San Diego. 

This week I am working on Allietare. All the blocks are completer. will be working on the setting triangles, borders and hope to get finished by the end of the week. Here are a few of the blocks on the design wall,

Also completed this week is the block for Sunsine Quilt Guild. This was a very easy block and I hope to win all of these. I love red and white quilts!

Sunday Stash Report.

A rainy, blustery day here in San Diego! We are glad to see the much needed rain that is coming our way this week.

Nothing in this week and nothing out, but lots of projects in the works just waiting for a finish.

My UFO for this month is #2 called Tidbits. Yeah! This small and easy quilt for the month, will leave me plenty of time to work on a few other projects.

Sunday Stash Report

Nothing in and nothing finished this week! Check back to see what my UFO is for March at the Parade at 52 Quilts. Will also have a few other things in the works for March. One will be a quilt for my new granddaughter born on Feb 17th. It will be the pattern below from Gigi's Thimble, called Square Dance. I will be making  in pale pink, mint green, grey and black.

Block of the Month Finishes

This week, in between getting a little skiing in, I have finished up the next installments of  3 BOM's that I am working on this year along with my friend Sandi over at Kwiltnkats.

Here is Prairie Gathering by Pam Buda. This one adds on a border each month, and has you also making blocks for future borders.

Next is Union Blues, by Barbara Brackman. This month was the second installment of 720 half square triangles.

Lastly is Freedom Rings by Paula Barnes. Two more blocks and six small star blocks were completed this month.
