Stash Report

It was a busy week, with my family here last week, so not much sewing was done. I was able to get the blocks and rows together for the Aloha mystery quilt. Now just need to add a couple of borders. This will be a charity quilt for Sunrise Stitchers.
Later this week we have more company coming. On Wednesday my friend Joanne and her husband will arrive for a couple of days. They live in Whitehorse,Yukon ,and are visiting the Southwest. Looking forward to seeing Joanne as it has been a couple of years.

A small finsh this week with this easy and fun tablerunner. I also have two other small projects that are done, but will share at a later date as they will be gifted. My Daughter and grandkids arrive this afternoon for a visit. We will be taking them to the Childrens Museum, hiking and then spending two days at Great Wolf Lodge. Looking forward to spending time with family.

Stash Report

It has been a super busy couple of weeks for us. We just returned from a 5,000 mile road trip that took us through Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri and into Tennesee and South Carolina where we visited some friends that we knew in San Diego.

One of our stops was the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln Nebraska. This is a must stop if you are ever in the area. It is a beautiful museum and they have an extensive collection of all sorts of quilts.
Here are some of my favorites from the different exhibits.

A trip back to that part of the country is not complete without a stop at Hancocks of Paducah!

I was only given about an hour to shop as we had to get back on the road.
I found a couple of cheddars for a future project, a nice neutral and a backing for my JN quilt.

So here is the damage to the stash:

Used this week: 0 yards.
Used YTD: 112 yards.
Purchased this week: 10 yards.
Purchased YTD: 62 yards.
Net Fabric Used YTD: 50 yards.

Enjoy your week!
