Happy December All!

Have not had a chance to post in the past few weeks. My day job is in retail and this is a crazy busy time of year, where I am working 6 days a week. This, unfortunately, this leaves little time for sewing.

This week finds me trying to work on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery in between all the crazy work hours.  I am happy to say that I have completed the first two steps and with a little luck will be working on step three this week and be caught up. Below are the hour glass units, all 224 of them, and the 72 string blocks.

I also decided on a lay out for the Happy Birthday quilt, which was my UFO for November- will probably not get that one completed until the end of this month.  Decembers UFO will have to wait for 2012!

Birthday Quilt final layout.
Have a great week and don't forget to get in some sewing time along with shopping time!

  1. I love your mystery quilt colors--what is your third color? The shades of green in your string blocks look really nice.

  4. Your Orca Bay steps are looking great. It will be interesting to see the purple come into play. Sandi
