Design Wall Monday

 A finish will be happening this week! Sashing is almost complete for Oh Say Can You See, and I will be putting it all together this week. It is #1 on my list!

I will also continue to work on the halloween quilt. Have most of the units together and just need to put blocks together.

On the Longarm this week is Bountiful. I put the top together in 2020, and now I am getting it quilted. I had already quilted one for Sandi, so it will be done in a very similar manner. I will just change up a couple of the patterns.

Sunday Stash Report

No quilt finishes this week, but projects in the works. Pincushions were finshed this last week. These were from a pincushion of the month that was gifted to me by Sandi over at Kwiltnkats. These were fun to make and a great way to practise some new embroidery stitches. 

Another small project that was finished, were these halloween mug rugs for the grandkids. They were easy to put together and the fabrics glow in the dark.

Design Wall Monday

 

On my design wall is O Say Can You See. Most of the blocks are pictured above, but it is too large to fit all on my design wall. I will be working on the sashing this week and deciding if I want to add a border.

I will also be sewing more units together for the Halloween quilt I am working on. Here are the 25 patch blocks I have ready to sew. I will be making 16 of these.

Sunday Stash Report

I was off to the shop hop this weekend, my first one in Arizona. We visited 3 shops in thhe " southeast" st on Saturday and of course I found a couple of things to add to my stash. I hope to get to the Northwest shops later this week. Shop Hop runs through the 15th.

This will be used for a kaleidoscope class in November.

More neutrals. The first one is sashing for O Say Can You See.

I will be using these for some Christmas placemats.

Design Wall Monday

128 blocks

 The last of the blocks with the all those half square triangles were finished up and this week I will be sewing the blocks together. I have 10 of them stacked up and ready to sew. There are 32 in all and then on to the final clue that was posted today.

Nothing finished this week, still working on my 100"s of half square triangles. I am now at the sewing them together into blocks stage. I need 128 blocks to go with units that are already finished.
