2014 UFOs

Here is the line up for my 2014 UFO's. Some are carry overs from 2013 that did not get finished, some I just have patterns and fabric for, but all are from my stash. My goal will be to try to finish all 12 this year!

#1 Talk'n Turkey is another Bonnie Hunter pattern. This is a swap with some of my quilting friends. We will be swapping the red string blocks and the nine patches in January 2014.

#2 Lillibet's Garden was stated awhile back and is sooo close to being finished that I had to add it to this year's UFO Challenge.

#3 Survivor was started in a class at the San Diego Quilt in September 2013. It was a class with Joyce Weeks and the first workshop that I have taken at the San Diego Show. We had a great time in class.

#4 Star Fusion is a class that I will be taking at Road to California on January 21. It is a pattern by Bloc Loc Rulers and will be taught by Janna Thomas.

#5 Twister Jack pattern and fabric were purchased on my trip to Yellowstone last September.

#6 This quilt is the second class I will be taking at Road to California with Linda Ballard and is called Harmony Square.

#7 Celtic Solstice is Bonnie Hunter's Mystery from 2013. My colors are red, gold, purple and green.

#8 Expect the Unexpected. A Mystery Quilt from a class taken at Road to California in January 2013. This is another big quilt, but the blocks are also big. Should finish up pretty quick once I get back to it.

#9 Scrappy Trip Around the World started in a Bonnie Hunter Workshop two years ago and one that I just need to get finished!

#10 Crab apple. Another Bonnie Hunter Pattern that started as a swap with some quilting friends. We all made the nine patches and swapped so we have a nice variety. Have all the rest of the fabrics to complete-just need to get sewing!

#11 Pfefferneuse. The string blocks above were also part of an exchange of blocks with quilting friends. Will be put to use in another Bonnie Hunter Pattern that is in her newest book.

#12 Equinox. The fabric was purchased some time ago. The pattern is from Cozy Quilts. Love these colors.

  1. *sound of applause* I'm agog. I'd be lucky to finish just one of those quilts. I can't wait to see your progress and finishes, so I'll sign up to be a follower!
